Scouts arrived at the trail head on july 30 and 31, really not sure what was coming. suddenly, Anthony C. pops out of the bushes and into the trail wearing robes. Lord of the Rings?  Think again. Summer Camp 2010 takes place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Palpatine has just executed order 66, which makes all Jedis enemies of the Galaxy. In a last desperate hope, Grand Master Brady runs to Endor, where he opens the last academy with the help of a few brave masters and elder Jedi. The remaining Jedi waste no time and inform the Padawans of there need to protect the source of the force, a mythical stone which feeds into the light side and saves the camp. However, the Dark Lord and his overbearing mother have sent warning transmissions that are quite “disturbing”. He warns of coming battle, whose result could potentally change the Galaxy we know…

COPE

Upon entering the academy, the Padawans and fellow masters (and a few brave elders) went to a challenge course which tested them mentally and physically. The challenges included tightropes, zip lines, giant ladders, logs, hanging steps, and, A 50 FOOT FREE FALL. Through these challenges, the brave men and women proved themselves worthy of the force and have made themselves stronger in the light side.

FINDING THE ACADEMY

Before the young Padawan could prove themselves worthy, the had to survive their first task; hiking to the Academy. Easier said then done, this task required to scouts to physically push their bodies and endure Sith mosquitoes and dinner delays. One patrol even had a Sith tampered map which completely mislead them. The Padawans entered the trail and were greeted by their ambassadors who had successfully made communication with doubting masters. The master questioned and challenged the Padawans to make sure they were who they said they were. Everyone made it to camp and the overall status was a success.
